Soni Mehta, also known as Gurpeeet Kaur, is a multifaceted artist with a passion for dance, fitness, modeling, and choreography. Born and raised in India, Soni’s talent for dance was evident from a young age, and she began performing and teaching early on in her life.

At the age of 17, Soni made her debut on the popular reality show Dance India Dance, where she impressed the judges and audience with her skills and received high praise. She continued to hone her craft while studying for a degree in Arts and became a certified fitness trainer.

Soni’s hard work and dedication paid off when she participated in beauty pageants such as Miss Fame India and Dhi Punjab Di, where she was the runner up. However, it was her participation in Miss PTC Punjabi 2018 that catapulted her to national fame. She was crowned “Giddhea Di Rani,” which translates to “The Queen of the traditional Punjabi dance Gidha.” Her choreography, graceful moves, and infectious personality caught the attention of many in the industry, and she went on to work with several celebrities, including Diljeet Dosanjh, Anmol Gagan Maan, Bunty Bans, Jassi Saini, and Harry Bhatti.

In 2018, Soni decided to take her career to the next level by moving to Dubai. She joined the professional Bollywood dance troupe Ocean Kids and performed at prestigious venues, including the iconic 7-star Burj Al Arab. She continued to offer her expertise in dance and fitness instruction to clients, both independently and through the Emirates Dance Academy.
