Performing and teaching dance from an early age, Soni Mehta unleashed her talent on Dance India Dance (2014) at the tender age of 17, where she reached the studio rounds and received a lot of praise. She worked hard and finessed her craft, whilst studying for a degree in Arts and qualifying as a fitness trainer. In 2017, she was part of the Miss Fame India beauty pageant and also was runner up at Dhi Punjab Di. She hit the limelight and received national recognition in Miss PTC Punjabi 2018 where she was a highly acclaimed finalist and was crowned ‘Giddhea Di Rani’ (The Queen of the traditional Punjabi dance Gidha). Her talented choreography, graceful moves, fitness performances and most of all her infectious bubbly personality led to a lot of interest and social media hype. As a result, she has worked with several celebrities from the industry, including Diljeet Dosanjh, Anmol Gagan Maan, Bunty Bans, Jassi Saini and Harry Bhatti.

Not being satisfied with her achievements in India alone, Soni moved to Dubai in 2018 as a first step to gain more global exposure. Her journey there started with Ocean Kids where she was part of a professional Bollywood dance troupe, that performed at several prestigious venues including the world renowned 7-star Burj Al Arab.
